What is Hormone Care Program?

Hormone care program is the combination of various Traditional Ayurveda Therapies, Medicines and Modern Diagnostic tools. It is so developed that each & every hormone related problems get cured.

Why Hormonal Imbalance?

Hormonal imbalance is the gift of 21st century lifestyle to us. Nowadays Hormonal problems are increasing quite excessively. Some years back these problems were uncommon but now every second or third person is suffering from such problems.

Dr. Kalpesh’s Vision behind Hormone Care Program-

Dr. Kalpesh is a strong believer of basic principles of Ayurveda. The word Ayurveda itself means “ Knowledge of Life” & to know ayurveda is to comprehend the dynamic relationships between your body, mind and spirit.

According to Ayurveda, Hormones are the connection between Body, Mind & Soul. They carry information to the body from mind and maintains the mutual working of both systems. So for the wellness of both the physical & psychological parts, it is important to have sound hormonal system in the body.

The process of identifying imbalance & restoring dynamic equilibrium is central to the practice of Ayurvedic medicines. Ayurveda believes in finding the root cause of the diseases and not the symptoms of the diseases.

The diseases related to endocrine glands are known as endocrine or hormonal diseases.

They are divided in 3 groups-

  1. Hyposecretion- Leading to hormone deficiency.
  2. Hypersecretion- Leading to hormone excess.
  3. Tumors- Benign or Malignant.

Endocrine disorders are quite complex, involving a mixed picture of hypo secretion & hyper secretion because of feedback mechanisms involved in the endocrine system. E.g. most forms of hyperthyroidism are associated with an excess of thyroid hormones & low level of TSH( Thyroid Stimulating hormone).

There are number of Hormonal diseases but following are the most common hormonal diseases which we came across in day to day life.

Thyroid is one of the largest Endocrine glands in the body.

Functions- Thyroid controls the-

  • Metabolism
  • Makes Proteins
  • Control s how sensitive the body is to other hormone.

It produces-

  • T3- ( Tri-iodothyronin)
  • T4- (Tetra-idothyronin)
  • Calcitonin- Maintains Calcium homeostasis.

Regulation Of Thyroid-

Thyroid is regulated by TSH(Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) produced by pituitary gland, which itself is regulated by TRH( Thyrotrophic Releasing Hormones)

Over production of T3 & T4 is known as Hyperthyroidism.

PCOS is one of the most common hormonal disorder among the women of reproductive age (i.e. 12-45 years)

PCOS produces symptoms in approximately 5 -10 % of reproductive age women. It is one of the leading causes of female sub infertility.

Principle Features-

Menstrual Disorders-

  • Less than 9 menstrual cycles (period) in a year & no cycles for 4 or more consecutive months.

Diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases in which person has high blood sugar, either because of the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or because of cells do not respond to insulin that is produced.

It has Classical symptoms as follows-

  • Polyurea- Frequent urination.
  • Polydipsia- Increased thrust.
  • Polyphagia- Increased hunger.

Complications of Diabetes-

All forms of diabetes increases the risk of long term complications. These complications typically develop after many years (10-20 years)

Treatment Part



Dr. Kalpesh, after treating hundreds of patients of hormonal diseases, designed some formulations which he found extremely useful in treating all hormonal diseases.

These formulations are completely herbal & self made. Dr. Kalpesh don’t believes in using hormones as they have many side effects.



Our changed lifestyle, adulterated food, hybrid food, pollution, stress is causing generation and accumulation of toxins in our  body which are responsible for such hormonal diseases. So for complete cure and eradication of such problems, all toxins should be eliminated from the body. And the only method available for detoxification is Panchakarma therapies of our own Ayurveda.

Sneham (Abhyangam)–

Sneham is a type of massage which is done in a synchronized manner by using specific medicated oils.

E.g. Bala tailam, Dhanwantram Tailam, Bala- Guduchyadi Tailam etc.

Swedanam- Sudation:-

Swedanam is the herbal formulation which is given to entire body in steam box by using herbal decoctions. E.g. Dashmool Kwatham, Nirgundi Kwatham, Bala Kwatham etc.

Vaman- Medicated therapeutic Vomiting:- 

Vaman is the 1st panchakarma therapy which literally means medicated therapeutic vomiting. It is done for elimination of vitiated kaph & associated other toxins in the upper part of the body.

Virechan- Medicated Therapeutic Purgation:-  

Virechan is the second & simplest panchakarma which literally means Therapeutic purgation(loose motion).It is done for elimination of vitiated Pitta & associated Vata( i.e. toxins) accumulated in the middle part of the body through its nearest route(rectum).

Nasyam –

Nasyam is one of the panchakarma therapy which literally means the introduction of medicated oil, herbal powder or herbal decoctions into the nostrils. Before performing the nasyam procedure, gentle massage with medicated oil is done on head, neck, shoulder & face.

  • Nasyam detoxifies the head, neck, throat & improves immunity.

The Shirodhara is one of the most meditative & relaxing treatments of Ayurveda in which different kinds of warm medicated oils or decoctions or buttermilk is gently poured on sixth chakra or the third eye(energetic center).It calms the Central Nervous System & integrates body & mind.
